1. Overview

Runback is a discovery platform for the fighting game community (FGC). We aggregate tournament information, player profiles, event details, and community news. We do not host or manage tournaments directly—registrations, payments, and participation occur on third-party sites.

2. Accounts & Authentication

Sign in with Discord, Google, or start.gg to create an account. You can follow games, customize your feed, claim your player profile, and receive email updates. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3. Player Profile Claims

You may claim your competitive player profile by verifying ownership through start.gg. Claimed profiles display your tournament history, placements, and stats. You may unclaim your profile at any time. False claims or impersonation is prohibited.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access non-public areas of the platform
• Scrape content without permission
• Impersonate other users or players
• Disrupt site functionality

Abuse may result in account suspension.

5. Third-Party Links & Data

Event links redirect to external tournament sites. Tournament data is imported from start.gg and other sources. Runback is not responsible for third-party sites, their content, or their policies.

6. Content Accuracy

We aim to provide accurate tournament information, but schedules, brackets, and details may change. Always verify important information with event organizers directly.

7. Email Communications

We send updates about games you follow, event alerts, and platform news by default. You can unsubscribe anytime via email links or your account settings.

8. Termination

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms or disrupt the platform.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Continued use of Runback means you accept future updates.
