Runback helps fighting game players discover tournaments, read community news, and track their competitive history. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the platform and how we protect it.

- Account details including username, email, and profile picture from OAuth providers (Discord, Google, or start.gg)
- Profile information you provide such as display name, bio, and social links
- Preferences like followed games and notification settings
- Player profile claims linking your account to competitive records from start.gg
- Usage data from activity on the platform
We do not collect payment information. Event registrations occur on third-party sites.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information helps us:
- Provide and improve Runback's features and services
- Personalize your feed with events and games you follow
- Display your claimed player profile and tournament history
- Send email updates about followed games and events
- Maintain platform security and prevent abuse
3. Third-Party Integrations
- We integrate with start.gg to import tournament data, player profiles, and competitive history
- OAuth providers (Discord, Google, start.gg) share basic profile information when you sign in
- Event links redirect to external tournament sites with their own privacy policies
4. Email Preferences
We send email updates about games you follow and platform news by default. You can unsubscribe anytime via email links or your account settings.
